Each of us is a sinner, somehow we all have that in-built conscience that convicts us of our sin. No matter how hard we try, we do what sinners do, i.e. sin. But really, Kevin, I hope that you will be able to enjoy the forgiveness that comes through Christ. We cannot bear this burden on our own. It is not by own own works, “trying to be a better person now.” For all you know, we really cannot live with our sins in the past. It is haunting. We cannot forgive ourselves to begin with. We may be doing good things today, but our sins will always come back and haunt us. But in Christ, there is freedom.
Maybe it’s time to start picking up that book I gave you 6 months ago and come to your conclusion after a thorough study of the case for Christ. Will be back in about a week. Let’s meet up soon!
